Last month I ticked one off the bucket list by visiting Lake Como.
We were staying in Milan but headed to Lake Como for a day trip, and it was everything I’d hoped and more.
We were based at the renowned Grand Hotel Tremezzo, a luxury five-star hotel situated right on the lake. An incredibly luxurious hotel with so much character and full of old-school glamour.
From the hotel’s moor, we took a trip on a private boat around the lake, spotting the homes of George Clooney and Richard Branson. The Lake is stunning; I couldn’t get over how picturesque the surroundings were, visiting in early September the weather was beautiful and being out on the lake was incredible.
We headed back to Tremezzo for lunch, overlooking the stunning Lake and eating all the Pasta and Wine for the afternoon, we also got a tour of the beautiful hotel grounds, oh to of been lazing around THAT pool, it was insanely gorgeous.
One day I hope to go back to spend more time floating around the lake…
