Ibiza Sunsets

I’m on a major come down this weekend after having spent a blissful week in Ibiza. My trip was probably slightly different from most people’s visit to the White Isle, and different from my previous trips! It wasn’t spent partying all night and sleeping all day; we stayed in the most incredible Boutique Hotel & Spa ‘Ca Na Xica‘, and as soon as we set foot onto the beautiful grounds we instantly relaxed.

Our days were spent lazing around the stunning pool, the main feature of the hotel, eating Tapas from the lunch menu & drinking fresh juices. Dinners were booked to catch the magical Ibiza Sunsets and early nights were had to rise early and do it all over again.

Sleep...

You’re spoilt for choice for good hotels in Ibiza, and there is something for everyone. We chose Ca Na Xica, a restful retreat in the Ibizan countryside, with the help of our go-to site for Luxury Boutique Hotels Mr & Mrs Smith.

Rooms are pared back luxury, the food was spot on (I lived on ham croquettes and will be craving them for weeks) but the real high light for me was chilling around the pool.

Pool Side you’ll find the comfiest, stylish sunloungers dotted around the focal point of the hotel…

The saltwater pool, surrounded by olive trees; it couldn’t get any more peaceful (Ca Na Xica have a no kids policy). We can’t wait to return the next time we need to switch off. The hotel’s location is in the middle of the Island, but nothing is too far, cab rides were 20-30 minutes if you can bare to tear yourself away from the idyllic setting to explore.

Eat...

HOSTAL LA TORRE

We headed to Hostal La Torre for a Magical Sunset Dinner. An incredible spot right on the sea front with a very relaxed, buzzy vibe. Tapas style food was washed down with plenty of Rosè while witnessing our first sunset of the week.

THE GIRI CAFE

We couldn’t visit Ibiza without a pitstop at The Giri Cafe. A hidden garden oasis serving healthy food and juices.

Stop by to refuel after a heavy night or to enjoy dinner in the tranquil surroundings. We enjoyed a delicious brunch in the stylish courtyard.

LOS ENAMORADOS

We enjoyed yet another memorable sunset dinner on the rustic terrace.

I read about Los Enamorados in Conde Nast Traveller, and it sounded every bit as cool as it turned out to be. A newly opened, quirky boutique hotel right on the sea that screams Ibiza Hippy.

The food was incredible as were the cocktails and I challenge you to leave empty handed after visiting the onsite Concept store!

Wear...

Net-a-Porter’s latest concept ‘Jet-a-Porter‘ made sure my wardrobe was Ibiza Ready. Marysia Swimwear, Miguelina Cover Ups & Ibiza Inspired Brand Love Shack Fancy was near enough all I needed for a Stylish few days away.

We also attended a wedding while on the Island, I opted to wear Bohemian Designer of the moment Ulla Johnson.

My Janessa Leone packable hat kept the Ibizan rays at bay, I never Travel without a pair of TKEES, a neutral, go with anything flip-flop or my Topshop Denim Shorts. Say What You C basket bags were the perfect size for my child free pool essentials of a Book (Big Little Lies-LOVED!) Sunglasses (Celine Baby Audrey) & Suntan Lotion (Esthederm-always.) The perfect pieces to complete my Holiday Look.
