Where I buy Affordable Art

Art is a great way to personalise your home and add character to your rooms. When we were renovating we had a few artists in mind whose work we wanted to hang on our bare walls- I’m still saving for a Harland Miller but we did manage to get our hands on a Christiane Spangsberg print at an exhibition in London back in March- my first investment in the world of Art! You really don’t have to spend a fortune though to add interesting art into your home, there are some incredible artists offering affordable art. I’ve rounded up my favourites below.

Partnership Editions is a great site for up and coming artists at affordable prices. My favourites being Lisa Hardy, Venetia Berry & Jessica Yolanda Kaye.

Fashion Illustration Gallery is another cool site where you can pick up illustrations with leading artists. Many have collaborated with major fashion brands such as Chanel & Louise Vuitton. Check out Richard Haines, Tanya Ling and François Berthound– the perfect prints for a bathroom or dressing room.

Frances Costello is an artist whose fun prints I love- she also has a collection of homewares. (edit of prints available on Partnership Editions)

Astrid Wilson is an illustrator who has collaborated with Rixo, her beautiful prints have been flooding my Instagram feed lately and I’m obsessed with her Market Prints- check out @astridwilson for some seriously good interior inspo.

The Alex Eagle store is a constant source of inspiration. If super stylish creative director Alex has selected it for her store, you know it’s going to be beautiful. The Caroline Popham prints and ‘I mean the Dream’ Print by Toby Mott are on my wishlist.

King & McGaw has a vast range of prints and posters from established artists such as Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso & Joan Miro. An excellent way to add some culture into your home.
