What to Invest in For A/W

Investment buys are key when making new purchases; I’m a big advocate for high/low dressing, but spending more and buying less will give your wardrobe longevity. I’ve broken down my essential investment buys for the season via MYTHERESA, my go-to for those key on-trend pieces that will elevate any outfit!

I wear loungewear A LOT and not just for lazing around the house- I love to add a pair of trainers, structured bag and smart coat to elevate the loungewear, making it work for meetings/appointments. If I can be comfortable and stylish, it’s a huge win. I recently bought this Frankie Shop set as a grey marl tracksuit will forever be my favourite.

Shearling Coats are trending right now and a great way to update your wardrobe for the new season- the ultimate in chic winter style. A true buy-now wear-forever piece that you will pull out every year and will just get better with age.

Chunky Boots are the ultimate wardrobe staple. They go with everything and give an edge to your outfits. I recently bought this Prada pair, and they’ve already proved to be an excellent cost per wear investment.

I invested in a puffer coat a few years ago and have never regretted it. There’s nothing worse when you’re wearing a great outfit, but it’s freezing out, and your lack of outerwear lets you down. A stylish yet warm coat will be your best friend throughout winter.

I’m seriously considering these Bottega Sandlas for party season. I don’t buy many dressier pieces, but I feel a good pair of shoes can make your look. A simple, black sandal will go with everything from jeans and a grey sweatshirt to a killer black dress.

A long smart coat is top of my wish list for A/W. A classic piece that won’t date but will elevate your look.

A pair of Nike or New Balance trainers are a great way to update your look. I like to team mine with smarter pieces to balance out the look.
