2020 was a strange year for Fashion, with more time than ever spent at home and no need to get dressed up it was the year of loungewear and comfort dressing. I made a few key purchases throughout the year that I did manage to get plenty of wear out of despite the many lockdowns and restrictions, here are some of my best buys of 2020…
Bought just before the Pandemic changed our lives back in March, I suprisingly still got so much wear out of my beloved Chanel Dad Sandals by teaming them with my loungewear. My most loved and most worn shoe of 2020.
Free People Co-Ords became my wardobe heroes once April hit, they were my answer to staying comfortable yet stylish throughout months of WFH.
New Balance Trainers made a come back in a big way last year and this stylish grey pair were my go-to sneaker of 2020. Check out Matches for some updated colour ways.
This Sea Coat was love at first sight, dressed up or down this coat was a great investment buy.
Chelsea boots were the standout boot style of 2020 and I invested in this pair from Gianvitto Rossi at the start of A/W. I'm super pleased with the cost per wear ratio.
A little manifesting with a Celine basket bag for a summer of holidays. This was my Christmas present after being on my wish-list for the the most part of 2020.
I love jewellery to add interest to an outfit and this piece from By Alona is stunning. I wore it so much last year.
I've spoken of my love for H&M coats and this Ivory oversized style proved to be a great buy. It looks super chic teamed over loungewear which is key right now.
Jeans and Bras were probably the most unused items of 2020 but I still invested in this pair from one of my favourite Denim brands Re/Done.
This dress was an excellent buy from Horror Vacui, a brand I'd been lusting over all year. It works teamed with heels or flat boot and I managed to wear out on the few occasions I had planned.
